Where are the HDD leads? Which lead lights up that read light on the case?Īs is I can hook up the HDD leads to the Power pins and see when the power is on or the computer is asleep or hook them up to the HDD pins and see hard drive activity but not see when the computer powered down or in sleep mode. Hooking up the HDD(+,-) to the Power pins, and the power light stays on when the computer is on like expected. Call it overkill, but I am intrigued and would like to. I currently have a Corsair 5000D Airflow tower and saw on Corsair's website/tower review videos that it is possible to have up to 13 fans installed 3x 120mm front, 3x 120mm side, 6x 120mm AIO CPU cooler push/pull configuration, and 1x 120mm rear). When I hook theses up to the HDD pins on the mother board, the Power Light blinks during hard drive activity, and stays out when there is no activity. That said, I've come to a sudden obstacle. The HDD(+,-) leads are obviously mislabeled. I have USB 3.0, USB 3.1C, HD Audio, PowerSw, ResetSw, and HDD(+,-). Only problem is there are only 6 leads coming out of the front panel. The CORSAIR RapidRoute cable management system makes it simple and fast to route. A high-airflow optimized steel front panel delivers massive airflow to your system for maximum cooling. The manual shows 7 leads coming from the front panel, USB 3.0, USB 3.1C, HD Audio, Power Switch, Reset Switch, Power(+,-) and HDD(+,-). The 5000D makes a stunning, showpiece-worthy PC easy to build, and even easier to keep cool with the space and flexibility to mount multiple 360mm radiators. I'm having trouble with the front panel pin connections. Before that with the AIO u really don’t hear the thing. The 3 on the side are set to only spin if the water temp goes above 36 degrees. 1 rear and 3 top with the radiators on the side and top. I've just completed a build using the Corsair 4000D air flow case and a MSI Z490-A pro mother board. I did the custom loop on it now with the 3 side and 3 front.
